The Revd Professor Don Cupitt is a Life Fellow of Emmanuel College, Cambridge. His books include Taking Leave of God, The Sea of Faith and Solar Ethics were published by SCM Press and translated into many languages. He is the founder of the Sea of Faith movement.

Rambling and repetitive but good stuff. I heard Don Cupitt interviewed on Philosophy Bytes, and once I had his voice in my mind, the reading was easy. I can't recall, but a Catholic priest wrote a book with a similar horizontal v. vertical theme to it.
